Hello all, I'm new here. I have an Alembic Furthur that I am interested in selling. It is an awesome guitar but I have found that I'm simply not playing it. Does anyone have any suggestions on where I can go to figure out the value? Below is Alembic's featured custom page for the guitar. It is the first Furthur guitar they ever made back in 2001/2002. http://www.alembic.com/info/fc_scf.html Thanks! Steve |

Wow, A very cool guitar. Value may be a bit difficult to quantify. This guitar has so many custom options that comparison to a stock Further will only get you so far. I know it's been said around here before that part of buying a guitar truly customized to your personal tastes is accepting that it might not sell for near as much as you paid for it, unless you find just the right buyer who shares those tastes. In this case though, the deviations from the norm make such a great composition, who can say? Regardless, I wish you the best of luck. |

What a beauty. That is a stunning guitar. Take a look at the thread titled "Tribute Bass" under the "Seen on craigslist, ebay and elsewhere" tab for an example of a custom bass built, kept for a while and then sold. |
