Anybody using Elixirs on their short scale SC bass?i love the strings,i use them on my Epic 5 string, but don't want to waste the money if they are going to be a problem on my SC,they don't make a s/scale which is a shame, let me know guys, thanks,Julian.

thats news to me ,they dont make elixirs in short?,those are good strings.but ron made only (i think)2 or 3 LONG SCALE small standard bodys, mica is holding one of them on the 'historical pics' (the little girl),they were too neck heavy,& alembic vowed to never make any more again

however, 34 scale strings on a short scale?, the only risk is wrapping that thick string around the tuner runs a risk of snapping mainly the E or A string because of the thickness going around more than twice.
