Can any of you recommend a guitar tech or repair shop in NYC that you'd trust with an Alembic Tribute? Thanks. Chris |

Hello, Another would be either myself, a multi Alembic owner and former luthier for Sadowsky Guitars, or Norio Imai, a master builder, formerly with Sadowsky with over 20 years of building and maintenance. I would bow out to Norio, as he has taken utterly destroyed Bennedetto jazz boxes and restored them to pristine condition. His shop, for that matter, is located in Manhattan on 22nd between 8th & 9th avenues I believe. Email me if you need more information. Bryant |

Not to take any bread out of the mouth of a fine luthier, but did you try to do any work on it yourself? I was always nervous about working on my gear, then out of dire need I gave it a shot. I've been doing my own adjustment for almost 20 years. I haven't screwed anything up yet! Besides, Alembic nuts, dual rods, and bridges give you a lot of options to get it just right. Just a thought.
