I just purchased this Persuader from the Guitar Center in Kalamazoo, Michigan. It should arrive home by Wednesday of next week.
I wonder if any of our members owned it in the past and can tell me about it. If there are any members who have owned one like it, I would like to hear what you have to say.
I do plan on posting an information request later.

It is a 1990 SN: 90 P6040.

Thanks in advance.
1990 Persuader 6

Thanks Elwood.
The bass was for up for sale about 2 weeks and I finally called on it yesterday and was informed it had been sold. The manager called me today and told me the guy returned it because the neck was too wide.

That is a BIG bodied bass. I dig it!

The FAQ on Persuader basses says normal controls are Volume, Volume, Filter- which would fit with the knobs you're seeing there. Does that not jive with what you're hearing?

Toby,
It appears you are right. I read in a previous thread that a prior owner was think of a mod for volume, blend. It looks like thatdid not happen. I only played it with everything maxed out. Sounds awesome either way. The low pass filter really dials the tone in for me. I had to make a few adjustments to the amp to smooth it out. Thanks for the input.

No harm Bill...
There's no known cure for the Alembic bug.... except
feeding it..collect as many as possible!
The other half said it's me or them....gee I'm gonna miss her(not the basses:-)

Nice chops Otis. Real Niiiice!!! That is a stunning 6 you have there.
Thank you on both counts. Both Alembics are serving me well. It's great to play the MK5 after working out on the Six string. My speed has picked up a lot on the MK5.

The wide neck is proving to be quite a challenge. I am considering on trading it for a five string: Elan, Europa, or possibly an Essence.
