I just got this F 1X. I plan to use it with my Crown 2000 amp. I currently am using a F 2B. I run 2 cabs (1-15 & 4-10) full range and really just got the F 1X for the line out. Can the F 2B be useful in anyway in conjunction with the F 1X ?

Actually , I was recently experimenting with the signal path as such; with Series I Bass. DS5-R Stereo to SF-2 Stereo to F-2B to Yamaha P2200 power amp to I/18 Gauss & 2x10 EV Full range IN addition I sent the mono out from the F-2B to the F1-X and sent a Bi-Amped output to a Crest FA9 power amp to 4x10 EV & 2x10EV . The result was quite a large sound with the potential to overdrive the F-1X slightly if desired. I like to experiment ! |

Hi Peter ,LOL ___ Thanks for your acknowledgment ! Well sometimes I like ultimate versatility and control and connectivity and sometimes I might just like a simple signal path with a non Series Bass. I tend to rarely have just one solution to my equipment "whims". I usually don't know what I will use till I am in the moment doing it but I like to experiment with the "Sonic Colors" before I swim into the musical mix doing it, a Fish needs to know where the Bottom is . |
