I have been continualy amused by the changing case interior colors.. every Alembic I have owned has been different.. the '74 came with purple the 76 was navy blue and the 79 was red/orange. It's the mystery fun when you buy a used Alembic...what color will greet your eyes when you open the case. :-)

My '86 Series I had a light blue case with blue interior, but it was so beat up when I bought the intrument used in '89 that I bought a new black on black from Alembic.

My case assumed extraordinary importance to getting my bass delivered this month (no case - no ship). It's black on the outside and the inside.

Black inside and out. It's an ASA Fight Case (with built-in wheels) that I spec'd (includng the colors) as a factory option from Alembic so that it would ship in safety.

My '82 Spoiler/Exploiter and my '04 Spyder case interiors are both black. Perhaps that's because they're the same body shape? Who knows.

How about a case with Coco-Bolo top and bottom sides, Ebony ends and handle, and gold plated hardware. And of course an inlaid Alembic logo.

....and a pair of sturdy wheels attached in order to pull the case. Carrying it would be a bitch (unless you use a separate gigbag for the bass)!

Yes, the case would probably not leave the house <g>.

And I suppose the wheels would have to be Pirelli tires on gold plated rims. Probably a special order item.
