Hi Mica, I was going through some things today and lo and behold I found my sale receipt to my old bass!!! It's serial 76-488 and it was sold to a Derek Steven here in L.A. in 1985. Has this bass ever been registered to any one else other than me?? I WOULD LOVE TO GET THIS BASS BACK!!
Cheers,
Marvin Sperling

Thanks Edwin, for your concerns. Wow, I'll try to look around for pics. When I sold it. I had Alembic update the PUP's, Bridge, Tailpiece and Nut. Also I had a Master Volume added ala Serie II. This is a Series I Bass BTW.
Happy Holidays!!!

I get no love from Mica. :-(
Has this bass ever been registered other than me?
Just a yes or no would suffice.

Marvin - it is good to practice patience.
Mica and family are very busy keeping the world supplied with top notch instruments and electronics.

Give her more time and she will produce as much information as the company has on record.

My request took almost three months - it was worth the wait.

BTW, I am pretty sure Alembic does not give out owner details as a matter of policy. They might say yes/no on it being registered.

I'm sorry, but I have no other information since you owned the bass. It hasn't been re-registered as far as I can tell.

And while any ownership information you don't post yourself is confidential, I would tell you if it was registered, and also try and contact the current owner on your behalf, if there was one to contact.

Maybe someone else will spot your old friend someday!

Thanks Mica. I really surprised that this bass never surfaced. Thank You for your response. I wish I could buy one of your instruments. I bought that bass for $1850. Now to buy one it's $18,000.00. :-(
