I have recently purchased an Essence Bass. This bass is really fantastic!! Serial Number: 99K12152 I'm confused about the batteries, and which batteries do what. I haven't been able to find a manual online to help me work this out. The strange thing is that the lights on the neck are out, due to a low battery, but the bass works fine, even without all those batteries. Can you tell me which battery to replace to get the lights to work again? Also, why does the bass work without batteries? Thanks, Eddie |

Eddie, Welcome to the club! There are actually two battery compartments in your bass: The one on top has four batteries in it, and these are for the LEDs in the neck. The second is in the control cavity (I believe). If it's not there, it will be in a very small cavity next to the control cavity. This should last you about six months to a year, depending apon ow often you play. Just replace the four batteries in the top to get your LEDs working again. Enjoy! |
