We are running an ad for the Skylark in the next edition of Australian Guitar and want to call on the help of Skylark players to write the tag line. The winning line will replace "As unique as you want to make it..." on the attached ad. Let your creative juices flow.

Hehehehehehe

"David Burgess is at it again" ...

Well ...let's try this one. If you keep the line on the same place as the actual line.
How about:

"some guitars you play ...this ... you'll caress"

Yeah ...I KNOW I have a twisted mind.

Paul the bad one

Jeeeeeez ...I ended up in a thread of high-frequencied six-stringers ....augh!!!!!

Keep it subtle:

"Like a Lark's Tongue in Aspic..."

(yes, I love King Crimson!)

Paul TBO: The club did such a good job last time. Also, this time I'll let you proof the ad before it goes to the publisher.

Pace: Very clever - I might use that line with my Australian Silky Oak (Lacewood) Essence.

I suppose "Less Paul, more tone" would be a little too aggressive. ;-)

Andy, you missed your calling, Brother. You should be in the ad business, that's brilliant.

Heh, thank you Sam, that was unexpected!

Maybe if Dave uses it, he can pay me in $US or $AUS, whichever is higher. :-)

PS I can't take complete credit. I think I got the idea from an old WKRP in Cincinnati sound bite of something like "More news, Les Nessman..."

(Sorry Paul TBO, depending on TV re-runs over there you may not get that joke at all!)

Yep ...you completely lost me here ... well ...there are more jokes around here that I don''t have the faintest clue what they are about.

How about:

"Soundwise: All & big"

(hehehe ...you'll have to read that outloud)

I've been in a creative black hole for a little while now but "As unique as you want to make it..." isn't bad.....

Here's a couple...

"Skylark - who said you need wings to fly?"

"Music's black and white...add a little color." With that line, there should be an amber, wineburst and, perhaps, that ocean blue Skylark in the Alembic store.
