A 98 serial would have five digits after the letter, something in the 11,xxx range. I've looked up FC's database for similar serials, but couldn't find one. Anyway: I keep my fingers crossed for you. Its an Essence with Europa/Rogue electronics, not sure what the top is (figured Walnut?) I may still buy the Essence, but a forum member here just agreed to sell me his minty custom Rogue. I will get some pics up next week, when I take delivery of it. I have owned so many basses over the years that just didn't do it for me. When I played someone's Alembic, I knew that i had to have one.... or maybe more.... I love how so many people here have Dead/Allman Bros handles. (Mine included!)
