I've owned my distillate for almost two years with no trouble... until last night. I plugged in and got no signal coming from the bass, and noticed that the LED light was out. I changed the battery and still, no LED and no sound. Any suggestions about how to proceed? |

Verify voltage of the 'new' battery. Look for any loose connections. ?? |

Check/clean the contacts on the 1/4" jack. The battery is switched through the jack. Keith |

Thanks all, but to no avail. New battery is fine, cords are fine, no obvious loose connections within the electronics cavity and the 1/4 inch jack is clean. Any recommendations for an Alembic Repair shop in central NJ? |

For what ever its worth I recently had the 1/4" jack break on me!! On my Distillate. One of the leafs in the jack broke off resulting in no signal path. No comment as far as the LED because I had it disconnected. The jack acts as a voltage switch for the battery as well as the signal. Best of Luck Pete |

Make sure non of the metal parts (output and prints) is touching the paint in the cavity (which is conductive) |
