Taper Core B String on Mark King Delu...

The B string only comes tapered. Is it possible to use a tapered B string with the Alembic system? It seems that the string height(saddle) is not adjustable....only back and forth to adjust for intonation. Please forgive me for my ignorance, this is my first Alembic bass. These are in our online store for $15 each. You can always put the original saddle back. I have been playing bass well over 30 years and I finally own an Alembic, they are truly THE best basses on the planet earth. I am now saving to have one built for me.
