I just bought this bass which sounds great and I'll play for years. I would like to know more about its factory files.

Thanks very much. Always interesting to know more about the instrument which drastically reduce your sleep length ;-)
Alembic stuff is a kind a dream for me (since, as student 20 years ago, I spent hours listening Stanley's records borrowed to my father)... now it's a reality between my hands... and I'm not dissapointed.

Stanley Clarke has influenced many of us here to acquire alembic basses. Welcome to the forum and I hope you enjoy it and get to understand first hand what the alembic sound is all about. It's not a sound that everyone likes , but if it suits you then you will find there is nothing else that will do.
