Hello there! Didn't know about this place. I'm a very happy F1-X owner. After selling one off a while ago and a rather desperate search a couple years ago, I found a used one and scooped it. I have learned my lesson and will keep this one forever. I know why you don't find them used too often. It's the best. Early on I had an old Fender Bassman 100, and fell in love with the tone of it, but it just didn't have the poop to use onstage. Someone told me to try one of these gems and it was the tone I have always wanted. Now, I use it with a Raven Labs True Blue EQ, RNC compressor, and a QSC PLX1602 through two Acme LowB 2x10's. I couldn't imagine a more perfect rig. I put the cabs up on a keyboard stand and there hasn't been a room where I haven't been able to dial in THE tone. What a great product! Looking forward to cruising around here a little bit and maybe learning a thing or two. |

John: Welcome to the club. Since you can't imagine a more perfect rig, let me help you. Sniff around here for info on Alembic's SF-2. It's the official unit for making a perfect rig even more perfecter! Bill, tgo |

I looked around for a used SF-2 for a while. I finally caved and bought the Raven Labs. It doesn't color the sound of the F1-x at all and is more than enough versatility for me. When I got the Acmes, it really opened up. I might scoop an SF-2 if I see one used. |

I just got my SF-2 recently, and man oh man, it is incredible. When the piggy bank refreshes I might go for an F1-X, although those Sultone cab's are also awfully tempting. Well anyway, welcome to the club. In my short time visiting I have found it to be one of the friendliest and knowledgable group of folks to be found on the internet. |

Glad you like your F1-X. My rig is similar, F1-X to a RMX-1450 to one low B2. Now if we can just put all this gear on the Underhill's tab...and go hang at the beach with Huggy. Mike |
