Very curious Epic (I guess). Looks like a Warwick Fortress.

That's one cool looking axe. Interesting pickup placement.

Wow, I think I must have been on vacation when that bass was done. I have no recollection of it whatsoever! The angle of the picture is exaggerating things, but it's still very unusual and I'll venture to say one-of-a-kind.

serial: 96C10130
name: Custom
model: CLB4
top: Burl Walnut
accent: Maple pinstripe
body: Mahogany
shape: Custom ("Fortress Horns, Europa Butt"
neck: 3-piece Maple
scale: 34" long
fingerboard: Ebony
inlays: Pearloid (plastic) ovals
side markers: bronze
peghead: Cone with veneers like neck through, no volute
pickups: MXY, treble pickup 3.5" away from fingerboard
electronics: "Epic" volume, pan, bass, treble, mono
finish: satin natural polyurethane (oil-look)
backplate: plastic
hardware: polished brass
originally made for: Larry Morgan Music, TX
birthday: August 20, 1996
Other production note: String with .040-.060-.080-.100

The bass visited here in 2000 (again, I must have been on vacation because I STILL don't remember seeing it). The fingerboard was levelled and refretted. We were going to change something about the electronics, but the customer changed his mind when he sent it in.

Enzo, did you buy this bass?

THAT is awesome!!!!!

I see Ric in it too with the inward pointing bouts. WOW!!!!!!! The Fortress hasn't quite got that look. This is way cooler!! Whoever ordered it had a few basses in (their) mind!

'Fortress horns, Europa butt'.... hmmm.....

That is skookum all the way!
