I just wanted to give praise to the people at Alembic. I recently purchased a set of CX-3's for my Europa from juststrings.com. When I was installing them, the E string snapped at the ball. I contacted juststrings.com to see if they would replace it for me. They pointed me to Alembic. So I shot a call to the mothership and spoke with Valentino. He said no problem replacing the string and it would go out that day. Sure enough it showed up today and I slapped it on my bass. I really appreciate it when people step up and do the right thing. Kudos to the folks at Alembic. Best Wishes, Bones |

I'll bet it really popped when you slapped it on there. Can't resist the pun, sorry. Brad |

Couldn't agree more with you, bones. Everyone I know who has ever dealt with Alembic has nothing, NOTHING but praise for the fine folks. In this day and age, it is refreshing. Thank you, Alembic! |

Ditto gentlemen, I recently shipped an old Series to Alembic with a list of things to be done or repaired. Valentino spend considerable time with me making numerous suggestions to save me unnecessary work and money. If they just built average instruments, I would still be a customer due to their excellent service. Valentino is not only one of them, he is one of us. |

I couldn't agree more. In this day and age, Alembic would stand out from the rest on the service factor alone. Hey Mike, if you want, you can start a thread in the "Intro" section and tell us about yourself. Rich |

I dunno, I think there's more to it than customer service. There's some serious mojo goin' down there in Santa Rosa! |

I'm with all of you. The relationship of the people at Alembic and their customers transends "customer service." My family and I made the Mothership Connection this past week. We spent the better part of the day Tuesday visiting with Susan and Mica, talking about everything including the guitar that we're having built. They are truly the most genuinely nice folks I've had the pleasure to do business with. In fact, having a guitar built by Alembic somehow doesn't seem like simply business. Susan and Mica were so warm and welcoming, so knowledgeble and yet so down-to-earth, they really made us feel like we were part of the process and indeed like part of an extended Alembic family. I have always gotten the same feeling when I've called for help with my Skylark or just to order some guitar polish. Thanks to all the folks at Alembic. Tom |

Just wanted to jump in on the GREAT customer service bandwagon. I have had a few dealings with the folks in SR and I have always had superior service. Not only do they stand out far and above other guitar builders, they are better than any other industry at customer service. |
