Slawie , Yes the "Ravens" start to flap around and create a big fuss often at my place ! However at times they come in handy . |

The Ravens are an adaptive bunch taking a footing in the East Coast USA as well.;) But as you can see not quite as adept (Yet) as the West Coast ones. Wolf do you sleep? Good on Ya'all from a NY transplant to the South. Best of Luck Slawie Pete |

It is improper for me to keep this hidden. The price is a trifle high IMHO at AU$4500 US$4000 plus shipping. There is no web info so I will go in and take some pics. Mahogany body and really dark front laminate (species unknown). Brass plate control cover. Knobby headstock. There is something rattling in the control cavity and only two screws holding the plate When I go in I will get contact info for those that are interested. slawie |

The bass was appeared on eBay few years ago. I remember the price was lowered several time. I thought to buy it, but it was gone. After then, I got my 8 string Scorpion. I think the top wood is rosewood. Eiji |

Slawie, That's a bunch of bodgy bulldust! You should keep it hidden, your find, your secret. Some dunny rat who has Bob as an Uncle will come in and swipe it. Then you will want to cut snake and he will crack a fat! G'day! :-D |

Hey Paul where did you learn to speak Aussie? I am in two minds about it. Having played it for about half an hour the bass is in dire need of a set up. It is inordinately heavy though, I was surprised how much it weighs slawie |

Slawie, I have a Distillate with simuliar dark woods. And and a small bodied Small scale Series 1 like yours. And yes there is a difference in weight. I realize Distillates and Series are an apple to orange comparison. But the heavier weight I feel brings out a deeper resonance. Lots of uniqueness for each of these critters. For that reason I couldn't sell either one of my Basses. Best of Luck with you decision kind of nice to have them. Pete |

Slawie, I only was there once for ten days. We got around; Darwin, Cairns and Manly. I think I liked Darwin the best. Anyhow, I wanted to make sure you understood my viewpoint! ;-) It sure is pretty. Concerning about the rattle and a need for a setup. One would hope that the seller would have a little more integrity. |
