Treble pot is very noisy

It only happens on the treble pot, the other pots are solid and quiet, could it just be a connection at the board? I have tried turning them back and forth, initially it seemed to help but still getting more noise than normal. If your soldering skills are good, you could use a solder removing syringe to remove the old solder from the pot, the wires usually stay where they are as they are threaded through the tang and apply fresh solder.
