As far as I know, Orion and Epics are build the same way (Set neck instead of neck-thru), and I guess the peghead (headstock) can be also ordered according to your taste (Cone, Crown, knobby, and so...), as shown in the custom quoter. But then again, a pic speaks more than a thousand words, so, if you can, show us! |

Since we've been exchanging emails, I figured I would get this little mystery solved today. Your bass was ordered as an Epic with an Orion body. You can also say it's an Orion with a Cone peghead. serial: 96OW9675 name: Orion model: OLB4 top: Bird's-eye Maple accent: Purpleheart body: Mahogany shape: Orion neck: 3-piece maple scale: 34" long fingerboard: Ebony inlays: none side markers: bronze peghead: Cone pickups: MXY electronics: "Epic/Orion" volume, pan, bass, treble, mono output finish: satin natural polyurethane (oil-look) backplate: plastic hardware: polished brass originally made for: Kenman, Switzerland birthday: February 21, 1996 |
