Here's what I found in the instrument file:

model: Persuader PMB4
top: Maple
accent: none
body: Mahogany
finish: Opaque black
neck: 3-piece Maple
scale: 34" long
fingerboard: Ebony
inlays: Pearloid (plastic) ovals
hardware: Chrome plated
pickups: AXY4
controls: "AE-1" volume, volume, filter, mono output
originally made for: not recorded
birthday: May 23, 1985

In the mid-eighties the opaque black with chrome hardware was a popular combination.

The bass was registered as a used instrument in 1997 as sold by Danny D's Music to an owner in Texas.
