I have this orphaned module, though I don't know where it belongs. Can anyone help me identify it and possibly how to reconnect it to an Alembic system. There are 2 caps,2 resistors(under the pot),and the pot. It has 4 solder points that now has some wire connected. I have 5 sets of activators, though one I can't get to work, so I'm thinking it might be a part of that set. That set has had a cap removed, but there isn't a Q-switch in place. Here's a few pics. Grateful for any guidance or clues. |

Thanks Mica, I'm trying to figure out if I can use it in an instrument. I'm guessing since I don' have a set that has a treble filter only, that this must have come as case candy a while back. Any good ideas of how to use it without the complimentary treble filter? I can at least file it in the parts bin properly labeled. elwood |

The treble board is the one with the preamp, so it's gonna be pretty hard to use without its complement. |

I see (I think), I'll have to look closer at the AE set I have that isn't working. Maybe what I thought was an AE-2 preamp board is an AE-3 preamp board (they are different if I understand correctly). |
