Noisy PU selector switch on Spoiler

Author Message frankfiveinc Junior Username: frankfiveinc Post Number: 17 Registered: 6-2014 Posted on Saturday, September 05, 2015 - 2:12 pm:    I may have an opportunity to buy an '86, 5-string Spoiler and I've been told that the PU selector is sometimes noisy and that it was sprayed with contact cleaner in the past to help. What is recommended in this situation to correct it? If replacement is necessary, how much cost is typically involved? Thanks!
