I vaguely remember registering my Epic by snail mail when I bought it in 1996. Any info you have on file would be great. Materials just so I can double check myself, but more curious for whom it was made and was I the first owner other than the store where I bought her? Many thanks, Jack |

Here's what was in the file: top: Bocate accent pinstripe: Maple body: Mahogany neck: Maple, 34" scale fingerboard: Ebony pickups: MXY control: volume, pan, bass, treble output: mono originally sold to: Music Unlimited, CA birthday: March 28, 1995 Ther is no ownership history for this bass, and I don't have your details on file, so you might want to re-register online. If you puchased it from Music Unlimited, and you received a warranty card, then you are likely the first owner. |

Thanks for the response. I'll register online. What is/was the warranty? That's where I bought it. That bass must've sat in the shop for just over a year, unless someone bought and returned it. I'm kind've thinking maybe that was the story, as I got a very good price on it and I remember the salesman telling me some story like that. Do stores order specific models and wood combos too, or do you guys make a few and then sell them to the stores? Not really my business, just curious. It is, as you know, a great instrument. It has been my only bass for nine years now. Never let me down. -Jack |
