I'm on a roll.Three post's in one day.Anyway, back in the early 90's,I was looking for a pre-amp and came across an SF-2 at a store here in town and was hooked BIG time. While I was giving it a good look over,an Epic 4 was calling out to me as well and I snatched em' both up.Fast forward to the present day after my Rogue 5 purchase.A couple of weeks ago I was looking around the club and came across a thread about SF-2 settings.Moder Dave had posted a pic of his settings and it was very different from what I was currently using. These settings were being used by other members as well so before a gig recently,I set up my SF-2 according to what I had seen in the thread and BAM.What an improvement.I was shocked.I never switched settings from what I used with my Epic and the new settings I use do not work with the Epic at all.So now I can't wait to hook up the Rogue and play with all that HUGE tone. It's just such a night and day difference and I love it.I guess what works for one bass may not work as well for another.

A link to that most informative thread for all who use the SF-2 and thanks to moder Dave for posting the pic of his settings. When I used a variation of his setting at that gig, there were a few double takes from my band members and I had a whole new feel from the tone from my Rogue. It's pure bliss.
