Nice basses! Here's what I found in the files: sn: 81-1851* model name: Distillate model number: DSB4 top: Koa accent: none body: Mahogany neck: 5-piece Maple and Purpleheart scale: 30.75" short fingerboard: Ebony inlays: mother of pearl oval pickups: AXY controls: volume, filter, Q-switch, bass cut/clat/boost switch, treble cut/flat/boost switch, LED indicator, mono output originally made for: Brian Guitars, CT birthday: June 25, 1981 The original owner was from Connecticut. *Serial number is clearly stamped this number, and it's recorded in the file the same way. However, It should have been issued as 81D1851. Maybe the short scale distracted us! Onward to the Essence: sn: 93K7729 model name: Essence model number: KLB4 top: Walnut accent: Maple pinstripe body: Mahogany neck: 3 piece Maple with 2 Walnut pinstripes scale: 34" long fingerboard: Ebony inlays: none pickups: MXY controls: volume, pan, filter, mono output originally made for: Ross Systems, Spain birthday: May 4, 1993 |
