Hello mighty alembicians! In addition to the build history, I was wondering why my fretless with side LEDs doesn't have the small silver LED surrounds, I was under the impression that was standard? Thanks! Robert |

Hi Robert, Here's what's in the instrument file: Highly Custom Essence (though that's just for pricing, there isn't much on here that would be classified as an Essence any more) top: Quilted Maple (original owner selected the woods) accent: Purpleheart core: Mahogany back: Quilted Maple neck: Maple and Purpleheart, 34" long scale fingerboard: Ebony lined fretless with side LEDs in red body shape: Stinger peghead shape: Crown pickups: MXY electronics: Europa backplates: Plastic (one of the few features from an Essence!) hardware: polished brass originally made for: private individual birthday: October 25, 1999 Back in 1999, the silver circles were not standard with side LEDs, but now they are. There are two previous owners recorded for this bass. It's a pretty unusual piece. |
