Hello, After years of wanting an Alembic bass I finally scored one! It's an Epic and I am posting to try and find out more about the history of it. The S/N is 93W8092. Found it in Monterey CA. I think it was made in 93 due to the S/N but I didn't think Epic models were made before 94. Any info would be great on the bass. After a little bit of refurbishing it's going to be played a LOT live for sure Thanks, ->Steve |

Hi Steve, Here's the details I found in the instrument file: sn: 93W8092 model name: Epic model number: WLB4 top: Flame Maple accent: Walnut pinstripe body: Mahogany neck: 3-piece Maple scale: 34" long fingerboard: Ebony inlays: none pickups: MXY controls: volume, pan, bass, treble, mono output originally made for: Zone Music, Cotati, CA birthday: December 23, 1993 Hasn't moved too far from home and looks pretty good for 22 years old |
