Mica. This was my first Alembic. The Spoiler with the decal. I never saw this part of the website before but if you have the time I would be interested in knowing the history of this one. |

The S/N would be 82 for the year, then an S for a Spoiler, and finally four digits - so your number must be off. It would make sense if it was something like: 82 S 2218. |

I hope it's not 2218 - that one isn't in the drawer hopefully it will turn up. However, as a Spoiler with a decal, I can tell you with 95% certainty that it's got solid a Koa body, Maple neck, Ebony fingerboard with pearloid oval inlays. |

It is, in fact, 82 S 2218. Does this mean I'm jinxed? It looks to be Koa wood and it definitely has the decal. |

You're not jinxed, Alain. It probably means that whoever looked up information on it before misfiled it when they put it away. As I get these records in a database, I'm hoping to run across these missing files, I'll let you know if I do! |
