hello! I'm having some trouble with my F1-X tube preamp. So I got a huge noise coming out the LINE OUT when switched on POST. In PRE everything seems to be right. The noise is increasing as I increase the volume. Yesterday I went to the music shop and we put an adaptator from XLR to mono JACK and there was no more noise ( hiss ) (great!) but with this unbalanced jack I got a new noise... kind of 50 Hz tic. and when I set the volume on the maximum, that noise disappears.. and there is also another problem with this configuration, there is a huge distortion, crackle and so on when I play loud especially on the lower strings. In the FULL RANGE output on the back, there is also the 50 Hz noise but no sound distortion when volume on maximum. Did someone encounter this problem already? pleas answer me! thank you Fabien |
