I bought a 1986 Persuader from Jeffrey Flaxman, who bought it from Patrick Moran. I can't locate the serial number on the bass and was wondering if you could help. The brass plate has been replaced (where the serial number should be). Is it located anywhere else?
Thanks,
Wayne

Check the end of the fretboard between the 24th fret and the truss rod cover.

Thanks. At one time I know you could register your bass here at the club. Is there a link for that still?
Thanks,

I'll be pulling files and researching today - were you able to determine the serial number yet? For a 1986 Persuader, it's expected to be stamped directly in the Ebony fingerboard, just below the 24th fret.
