Hello, I bought this bass in the early 1990s from East Coast Music Mall in Danbury, Ct. Can you tell me what history you have on it. I stoped playing in 1996 and I am ready to start playing again. Even though I wasnt playing I still couldnt resist pulling it out every now and then to admire its beauty and for some routine maintenance.

regards, mark

Hi Mark,

It will be a couple of days more for your request. There is a large, heavy carton on the floor in front of the cabinet with your file in it. I need to get that moved, then I'll let you know what I find out.

Thanks for your patience.

Hi Mark,

Yay! With access to the cabinet, I could look up the details you requested:

top: Bubbly Maple (same as Quilted Maple)
accent: none
body: Mahogany
neck: Maple, 32" medium scale
fingerboard: Ebony with pearloid inlays
pickups: AXY
controls: Spoiler (volume, pickup selector, filter, Q-switch)
originally made for: Drome Sound, NY
birthday: October 3, 1983

The original owner of this bass was located in NY. We haven't heard about any repairs or other reports from this bass since it was purchased in November of 1983.
