I would like to know if you can help me get the build data on my Alembic guitar, serial number 77-921 (stamped on the top of the peghead). This one is not a bass, it is a 12 string guitar. It has red leds in the neck that are working just fine. I purchased this guitar 10 years ago from the original owner, have the original case... which is also great shape. I've misplaced the original build paper with the signitures, etc. (unfortunately). Thank you in advance, - Cliff |

Hi Cliff, Here's what I found in the instrument file: LSG 12-string guitar top and back: P. Walnut* core: Mahogany neck: Maple and Purpleheart, 25.5" long scale fingerboard: Ebony with mother of pearl ovals peghead veneers: Bocate and Walnut originally made for: Rothchild birthday: November 30, 1977 On December 5, 1977, Rothchild sent the guitar back to us to have LEDs installed. On Augst 30, 1978, Rothchild sent the guitar in again to have the LEDs replaced. The 9th fret LED "goes out when the fingerboard is fretted at that postition. Please repair." We repaired under warranty. *P. Walnut is probably for Peruvian Walnut, a true juglans Walnut from South America. |
