Hi Eiji,

Here is what I found out about your bass:

77763 LSB 5-string Series I bass

top and back: Schedua
body: Zebrawood and Cherry
neck: Maple, Beech, Purpleheart, 34" long scale
fingerboard: Ebony with mother of pearl inlays
peghead veneers: Padouk and Rosewood
originally mde for: Rothchild
birthday: July 14, 1977

This was returned to us in July of 1977 with a problem of the backplate screws not unscrewing. This was repaired and returned to Rothchild.

We show 2 previous owners of this bass. It was sold used by Elderly Instruments in 1992.

Hi Mica,

Thank you for the info.
I am interested Cherry body.
How about the sound ?

This bass has many grooves on the bridge and nut.
Especially these strings possible to be shifted from bridge grooves.
If I can replace these bridge pieces, how to do about it ?
Would you send me the replace parts ?

My bass has a Cherry body. It is warmer sounding than Mahogany, it suits me well, but some people that have played it don't like it because it isn't bright sounding.

This one says Cherry and Zebrawood for the core. I'm not sure how much of each there is, so it will probably sound a little different than I described for my bass.

We can sell you the replacement parts, but depending on the bridge design, you might have to send it in for the saddles to be fit. When you get the bass, you can send me a picture and I'll let you know.

Sounds like another interesting addition to your collection.
