I have a request for a circuit diagram for my series I or II. I had some dip-stick step on my bass while it was on a guitar stand at a gig and he kicked off the switch toggle for the front pick-up. I had replaced the three position switch and wired it back up according to the plan I had drawn from the pull apart. It did not work. As I live in Australia it is too costly to send the bass back to the factory for repairs. Can I get a circuit diagram for the electronics in my bass from somebody, please? The serial number os 75-251S. Kind Regards slawie |

Hi Slawie; I'm thinking maybe the thing to do would be to email Mica to see if it would be possible for you to order a new switch from Alembic. (Message edited by davehouck on April 30, 2006) |

Hi, I have just bought a secondhand set of Series 1 pickups, dummy coil, elecs and hardware. I was told that ALembic had looked at the stuff and checked it over but I'm actually now very doubtful about that! It was a risk to buy it, and cosmetically the pickups are in appalling condition, but I am a Design & Technology teacher in the UK and can usually sort these things out! However, it WOULD be VERY nice to have a copy of the circuit diagram. Any chance please, Mica? Best regards, David |
