Bought it used a few days ago. Previous owner was not the first one but doesn't know the full history. Like to know full history and wood configuration. Pics: http://alembic.com/club/messages/411/27659.html?1146722842 Thank you. |

Hi Werner, Here's what I found in the instrument file for 90P5959: top: Flame Maple no accent laminate body: Maple neck: Maple, 32" medium scale fingerboard: Ebony with pearloid oval inlays pickups: PJZ controls: 2 volume, 1 filter, mono output body shape: Spoiler peghead: cone finish: transparent purple (a little lighter that the previous one we sent them) tuners: chrome Schaller hardware: polished brass birthday: not recorded, but likely late May 1990 (last recorded operation on the work order is rubout on May 19th). originally sold to: Mesa Boogie, Germany I guess the first bass we sent them in clear purple was too dark, so they asked for this one to be a little lighter in color. There are no other details in the file. |

Thanks, Mica. Interesting to know the bass was originally sold to Mesa, Germany. The previous owner has bought the bass from a british musician in London. Would be interesting to know where it has been before. |
