Bought it used a few days ago. Previous owner was not the first one but doesn't know the full history. Like to know full history and wood configuration. Pics: http://alembic.com/club/messages/411/27659.html?1146722842

Thank you.

Hi Werner,

Here's what I found in the instrument file for 90P5959:

top: Flame Maple
no accent laminate
body: Maple
neck: Maple, 32" medium scale
fingerboard: Ebony with pearloid oval inlays
pickups: PJZ
controls: 2 volume, 1 filter, mono output
body shape: Spoiler
peghead: cone
finish: transparent purple (a little lighter that the previous one we sent them)
tuners: chrome Schaller
hardware: polished brass
birthday: not recorded, but likely late May 1990 (last recorded operation on the work order is rubout on May 19th).
originally sold to: Mesa Boogie, Germany

I guess the first bass we sent them in clear purple was too dark, so they asked for this one to be a little lighter in color. There are no other details in the file.

Thanks, Mica. Interesting to know the bass was originally sold to Mesa, Germany. The previous owner has bought the bass from a british musician in London. Would be interesting to know where it has been before.
