Hi there, can anyone help me out? John Diggins (JayDee basses) is building a new bass for me and he installs a 5-pin stereo XLR, just like the one by Neutrik on my Alembic Series 1. He needs a wiring diagram so my Alembic instrument cable will also fit on the new JayDee. Thank you ever so much for your answer!!! |

My guess would be to give him your (series bass)powersupply so he could build it from there. |

I did a club search and found these message threads: http://alembic.com/club/messages/393/6795.html http://alembic.com/club/messages/393/7261.html You may find them useful. By the way, you may experience some hum when using the Alembic power supply with other (non Alembic) onboard electronics. If this happens, you'll need to add additional power filtering. An R/C filter consisting of a 100 ohm resistor and 1000uF capacitor usually works fine. Just make sure you have the right resistor power rating and capacitor voltage. - nate |

Thanks guys for your advice! I've sent it to John Diggins, right away. I'm sure he'll handle this one o.k.! |
