I just got this lefty Epic 5. I think it's 96, but could be 98 I couldn't make it out too clearly. Anyway any history or build specs would be appreciated.

Here's what I found in the instrument file:

top: Flame Maple
accent: Purplheart veneer
body: Mahogany
neck: Maple, 34" long scale, lefty
fingerboard: Ebony, no inlays
pickups: MXY
controls: volume, pan, bass, treble, mono output
birthday: August 26, 1996 (this Saturday 10 years old)
originally made for: Washington Music Center
