I am sure this has been addressed, but does a scratcy jack need to be replaced? Must it (should it) be an Alembic jack? This regards to 95 Epic btw. thanks | ||

It's a Switchcraft L113 jack. The 113 isn't too hard to find - but you need the one with the "L" so the bushing is long enough to come through the front. You can get these from us. We also have an improved jack available, but you sometimes have to carve a little more room inside the cavity and reshield that area since it's physically much larger than the original connector. This jack is more expensive, and requires a small amount of rewiring. You can email us at help@alembic.com with all your shipping details, serial number of your bass, and phone number.
