My friend, Steve Zing will be touring with Danzig for a brief tour next month. He is the singer in Doomtree and a veteran of Samhain and Son of Sam. He will have bass duties and needs a 3rd black bass for the BOTB tour. My 02 Blk Thunderbird strung BfEfAfDf will be in his arsenal and will be sold after the tour signed by several artists. There are already offers from a collector. Better than ebay I think. My 4003 has a home soon as well. Now to sell the Dean B2 5, and Ripper plus a few guitars to pad the nest egg.

Excellent. Good luck building/padding the egg. Not many successful musicians conceive the day they will need one to fall back on, but at some point nearly everbody will. Kudos for planning for your future!

For a good explanation of the nest egg principle, I highly recommend the hilarious movie "Lost in America", starring Albert Brooks and Julie Hagerty - stay away from Las Vegas!

Actually, I may get to play at Mandaly Bay in Vegas. I'm not a gambler though and I'll stay away from Ed Roman as well.

Dang, Danno, don't you have any vices? How's Doomtree II coming along? If it's anything like the first, I'm looking forward to it.

Yeah, buying Alembic and gear! We just finished our Christmas ep. Collectors vinyl 45's colored and hand numbered and a special download will be made available. 2nd album is going to be killer. The preproduction cuts sound amazing. But we have more work to do. My real vice is staying single while watching my friends go nuts and shaking my head in amazment.

How would one obtain the 45's? It should make a good stocking stuffer for my daughter Alisa.

Wow! Touring with Glen Danzig! I love the Misfits and Danzig, I'm not that familiar with Samhain (Though I believe on Collection II of the Misfits, there are a few tracks performed by Samhain) I met mr. Danzig when he played at the Paradiso, Amsterdam in '93. He was in a real good mood (cought him on camera...smiling!) Great singer!

Doomtree also sounds mighty good! I'm looking foreward to your European tour...

Cheerz!

This should be a great tour with a hoilday show at the Nokia in NYC. Doomtree may be on some shows including NYC. As soon as the 45's and such are ready I'll post it here. Keith I'll put in something extra for Alisa. Always glad to have fans. DT will prob get to Japan before Europe but we are trying for everywhere. Steve put the Tbird through some paces tonight. Not an Alembic, but it does the job.

Just a note, no NYC show but a NJ show at Starland ballroom on 12/26 with special guest Doyle from the Misfits.
I'll be there even if I don't play the gig. Vegas and Jersey, who could ask for anything more?

I've met Doyle once, it was at a Misfits gig in '96. I brought my Fender Prodigy bass and Doyle signed the headstock:

Jerry Only and Michale Graves also signed that bass
Still hoping for a reunion with Doyle and mr. Danzig.

Have Fun!

That reunion will never happen. Jerry is never even mentioned by name I'm told. Its that guy or your brother or words not fit for this forum. You may like the Danzig fan site www.the7thhouse.com for all things Danzig related including a collectors forum. There is a demand for signed instruments.

Just a traveling note, Steve carried on the Tbird with large case onto a Continental flight out of Newark. He could not at Austin to LA because the plane was too small. It arrived intact. I'm relieved because I don't think the collector would still be interested if it was smashed before the tour. Now if it gets damaged while in use on the tour, that may enhance its value.

Flip. Doyle joined Danzig for a few songs at the encore. The crowd went nuts because it was kept a secret. I hung with Kenny and Johnny from Type O and they played me rough mixes from the new cd. It sounds amazing! I also got to spend time with the guys from Lacuna Coil (Cristine was resting her voice). Great band from Milan. I'm hooked on their new album Karmacode.
