I am now the proud owner of the 1982 Spoiler with flamed Koa body. Serial No. 82 S2380 USA. Purchase price was Euro 1,375 (approximately 1,760 U.S. Dollars. Guitar in excellent condition and playing superbly. What data is on the Alembic file ? | ||

Hi Kevin, Here's what I found out about your bass: Spoiler SMB4 body: Solid Koa neck: 3-piece Maple fingerboard: Ebony pickups: AXY controls: volume, filter, Q-switch, pickup selector switch (SB-II electronics*) originally made for: Rainbow Music birthday: December 10, 1982 The original owner of this bass lived in Michigan. | ||

Hi Mica, thank you for the data on my Spoiler. I'll make sure that it is well looked after in its new home in Ireland. To own an Alembic in Ireland is to be a member of a rather unique club.
