I have purchased the above epic 6 with modified electronics. The original electronics were included in the deal. Can you tell me which circuit board does what, and can you supply me with the 2/3 pin connecting cables/plugs?. The details are as followes:-Board 1: 170-041 with double pot and no centre detent.Board 2:170-056 rev1 with single pot and lastly Board 3: 170-057 rev1 also with single pot already wired to Board 2.I do hope you can help as I would like to restore the bass to original condition.Thanks.JD |

Here's the electronics from a current Epic, the only difference is the output jack and the battery connector: Can you post a picture of the current condition of the electronics you have? Then I can make sure you'll get all the proper spare parts. In the instrument file, this is recorded as: top: Vermilion accent: Maple pinstripe body: Mahogany neck: 5-piece Maple fingerboard: Ebony originally made for: Guitar Center, Chicago, IL birthday: February 21, 1996 There are no previously registered owners. |

Hi Mica, Thanks for reply with photo. I attach a photo of my existing electronics as requested, seems I may be a board short? Anyway can you let me know if you can supply me with the missing interconnects etc. Thanks again JD.

You've got 2 preamps. The one on the left is a fitler with Q switch. One the right is a bass and treble module. If you've got 2 pickups, you'll need 2 boards: the pan and the volume. The 1-volume harness includes the output jack too. You'll only be able to use the filter or the bass/treble without some rewiring.
