Troubles With Distillate

I opens it behind and detaches and connects again the battery and the sound comes back. But later it goes disappearing, distorting and end. I donīt know what to do. I placed new batteries and nothing. Somobody could help me. Looking in the cavity, are any controls or boards touching the silver paint? Are the pickup leads securely attached to the PC board?
