I just want to take advantage of this service, and get some info on this bass from Alembic. mica Moderator Username: mica Post Number: 4539 Registered: 6-2000 Posted on Tuesday, May 08, 2007 - 3:06 pm:    Hi John, Here's what I found in the file for your bass: Series I bass - ILB4 97-11204 top and back: Quilted Maple accent laminates: Purpleheart body: Mahogany neck: 7-piece Maple and Purpleheart fingerboard: Ebony with mother of pearl ovals pickups: SC-1 and HX controls: Series I hardware: chrome plated brass originally made for: Guitar Center, Chicago birthday: not recorded, but must be December 1997. There is a note this was shipped to the store on January 15, 1998.
