Hi Mica, I just rescued this Epic from a store in Northampton, Ma. Any info would be appreciated. Also I have been rooting around the site and this seems to be one of the lower Epic numbers. Do you track the numbers where each model starts? Was '93 the first year for the Epic? Thanks, Kenn |

According to the Alembic site, the Epic was introduced in '94 : Reference Pages So yours must be an early one... Congrats! (Message edited by fc_spoiler on April 29, 2007) |

Thanks Flip, 2 times. I didn't think to check the reference page. I'll post a pic when I can, (my computer is down). She has been a little beat up over the years, and has a couple of switches added, one kills power to the jack, the second one has the wires cut, not sure what the previous owner had in mind there. She is definitely a player, and a keeper, but lots of bumps and bruises. Possibly a refin in the future. Thanks , again, Kenn |

Thanks Mica, I'm just home from work and this is a nice treat. I hadn't noticed the Purpleheart accent until you mentioned it, thanks again. Kenn |
