It is so fun to be the first to post a comment on this discussion board. I have had an Alembic, California Special, guitar for about 3 years now and I love it. I may be partial but I think Alembic makes the best instruments. Have fun here telling us about your Alembic Guitars all! |

In 1986 I had to give up playing fulltime for financial reasons (that and a lack of real talent). Kids will do that to you. But, I always dreamed of owning an Alembic. Well, grown kids and a deal on Ebay and I have my Series II. I used to think no bass could make you a significantly better player. I don't think that now. Had I had this bass while I was in the Air Force Band, I might still be there (or retired and moved on to greener pastures by now). |

Behold!!! I am the owner of the Orion Baritone!! I came across this fine instrument at a NAMM show in California in 1995 - it was over at that point!!!! Amazing instrument and fine playing guitar. Love, love, love it. It is the poster child of their Orion series brochure and it is on the Alembic Guitar users group. Happiness leads to funkiness - or is it the other way around???? TELL ME MORE ABOUT THE BARITONES. Been playing a Jerry Jones for some time but have been dreaming of having a custom baritone made. My research is starting to conclude that ALEMBIC may be the guitar of my dreams. Need more insight. Baritone owners please help. |
