Wow. The only thing I can say is that I'm totally awestruck. After owning several Hofner's, Ric's, and Fenders I've become accustomed to being very happy if I got a response to any question I asked within 2-3 weeks. I post my first question on the Alembic board and have an answer within 2 HOURS! Impressed is not the word.... Now another couple of questions (hope this is the right place) 1) Is it possible to order a reprint of the owners manual for my bass or get an electronic copy or anything like that? 2) Is it possible to "re-register" or update the registration to show me as the new owner? Is that something you like folks to do? Thanks again for everything, I have no doubt I made the right decision in going with the Alembic! |

@ 4001 - congrats on the purchase! Let's be honest - serial number requests are low priority, and normally Mica can find a little time about once every month to search the paper files that they keep. Alembic is a fairly small operation, and work on the instruments does take priority. But the pride they take in their product shines through: you get pretty much the same treatment as a second-hand owner (which doesn't put any money in their pockets) that you would get when you buy a brand new Alembic. If you check the main page of this section you will notice the caption saying "Next round of files to be pulled about ..." *** @ markrc1964 - could you start a new thread for your request? [ooops - you already have!] (Message edited by adriaan on June 28, 2007) |
