My first base may be this guitar...it is absolutely beautiful and in pristine condition. I am curious about it's history.
Thanks...

Hi Donovan,

Here's the details from the instrument file:

top: Flame Maple
accent: Purpleheart pinstripe
body: Mahogany
set neck: 3-piece Maple, 34" scale
fingerboard: Ebony
finish: satin natural polyurethane*
originally made for: Elderly Instruments, MI
birthday: December 22, 1994

Nobody else has registered this bass and there is no repair history.

*We don't use this finish anymore. It's thin and has the appearance of an oil finish, but it is sealed with polyurethane. This coating doesn't offer much protection from damaging forces, and has a tendancy to shine up on the elbow cut and below the neck pickup from playing.
