Hi Dean, and belated congratulations on your Alembic. They are, as you know, awesome basses. In case you don't know, the service for answering questions on specific instruments' histories is generally provided by Mica -who is currently recovering from the preggies and subsequent delivery. See "news and announcements" for further details. As a result, history requests and other things will likely be held up for a bit. Usually they are done in batches from time to time, as she has time. Just to let you know. Her new child will likely be occupying what would previously has been subsumed under "her free time". I'm sure she -or someone else- will answer at some point... but it would be reasonable to expect some delay -possibly from days at the least to even weeks. If this is the case, please bear in mind Alembic is a small family business, and the extraordinary circumstances of having a child... well, you get the picture. Hey, I'd like to see pictures of your Alembic. If you haven't done so, it would be cool to post them in SHOWCASE. Take care, Mark -the 8-String King |
