This may be a bit premature, but I'm anxiously awaiting delivery from Will Gunn on this Dragon's Wing. Newbie to the board, long-time admirer and dreamer. I've been lurking and researching the history for months on Roger's, Alan's, Oliver's and one other that escapes me. Best regards to all, Gil Young |

Hi Gil, Welcome to the club! Wow, Scranton... Many moons ago I played bass with Greg Palmer (Hazelton) and Clarence Spady (Scranton) played guitar. Do you know those guys? Enjoy your new bass (once it arrives)! Play it Healthy! Art |

Gil, First off- congratulations on a stunning bass. If the serial number lookup doesn't happen quickly, you'll probably find that the bass will arrive with a card which details all the build info. ~Toby |

Toby's right, Gil. The bass from Will's shop is new and will arrive with a card that we've written all the details from the file on. You'll almost certainly get the bass before I get to the files. |

Thank you Toby & Mica. In my excitement I didn't stop to consider the protocol. Is my anxiety so obvious? Art, I appreciate the welcome and yes, I've played with Clarence Spady and done session work with him as well. It's a long way from being a San Francisco native to finding myself in northeast PA. The Dragon's Wing is a dream come true and one of the few things that will keep me sane on this side of the world. -GiL |

Gil, I did a live gig for a couple of years in the mid 80's with Clarence. Please give him my regards when your paths cross. Again, congratulations and enjoy the Dragon's Wing! Art (Message edited by artswork99 on February 20, 2008) |

Thanks for the welcome, Graeme. I'm expecting delivery within a month and will post pics as soon as it arrives. I found one other available (besides Oliver's TFJ) but opted for the more affordable model without LED's. The DW is a huge leap for me and although I'll be the newbie around here for a while, I'm honored to be a part of the club and community. Oliver, see my post to you in "Fun Stories". |
