I hear a buzz from my bass that gets louder when I touch my Q switches or the barrel of my 5 pin connector. Weirdly, it doesn't get louder when I touch the barrel of the cable that plugs into the power supply. Perhaps there is a ground connection not being made in the bass? My next step is to check the continuity.

I do have to say that the refinish and the omega cut is just amazing! It feels like a brand new bass and it even sounds better. I'll be taking pics soon.

OK, I figured out that the silver paint wasn't making contact on the XLR and 1/4" jacks. I think I need to recoat the interior to get better coverage. Anyway, after a little copper tape to complete the ground circuit, everything is nice and quiet and delicious sounding.
